D Day

Last day in Ushuaia.
The guys here have been great  , Rob ,Silvina and Cecilia  have treated me like a king .

I went earlier to the Scandinavian Outdoors shop and they sorted me out with greta all weather gear

sleeping bag , jacket , fleece , gloves .

this will have to be short as i am invited out for a last supper , well a last civilised supper .

Got my local number going today . so have managed to get some emails off and have whatsapp work ,
you can just use my currect whats app it seems to show up on this sim too :)

Rob T and I with Ushuaia harbour in the back ground  and behind that mount Olivia which is teh tail end of the andes and i have to cross it tomorrow , but through a pass fortunately .

Last days

Had an awesome evening with family and friends lastnight.
lots of fun and drinks .

great sing along with Steve , Rich , James , Sam , Mom , Di ,  and all richards mates ( Jaye, Tyler , Chloe ,Anthony  and Sean )

then a duet Plus 1 on the piano

I am off ..........

So my nerves are shot ! .

Nothing is getting done , everything seems like its last minute .
On the up side I managed to pack everything into one large box , including my pram , and i come in at 23.5 kg  so i should be ok for the flight .
With 8  kg of hand luggage and dressed like the mitchelin man I am sure everything will fit .

Ihave beem in contact this week with a few very helpful people

Arnold Nardy from Buff , who's slow run makes my fastest run seem slow, sort me out with a great set of buffs to keep the wind and the sun of my head

Kevin from Top Events / New Balance organized me a couple  pairs of  NB860 , the best stability shoe on the market

Also have been in contact with Agustin Domingeuz from Columbia Sports wear in Argentina.

Columbia Sports wear in Argentina have generously offered to assit me on the run with a few logistic issues as well as a couple of pieces of equipment . I am sure i am going top call on them when I get o the mountain as i am sure my running shorts andTt shirt are not going to get me to the top .

Well only got 8jmore days in the office and everyone is stressed so back to the grind stone then .

 Got some snacks for the road .
